I'm Julie (Kustermann) Weitz, owner and certified dog trainer of Julie's Kanine K-12. I became certified through Animal Behavior College (ABC) and certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluator since 2003. I am currently continuing my education through the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. I currently have a Labrador Retriever Karley to help with training classes along with my son.
I am a 2010 graduate of St. Cloud State University with a bachelor's of science, where I studied psychology and emphasized my studies on behavior analysis. I have always had a love of dogs and animals in general. So, it was only natural that I felt the need to put my knowledge to work in the area of dog training. In 2017 I began working towards a career in dog training as a student at Animal Behavior College, ultimately graduating and becoming a certified dog trainer! My goal is to provide the people and dogs I meet with the knowledge and skills to properly and safely communicate and live with each other.
