Puppy Kindergarten
Our puppy kindergarten class, is held on Monday evenings at 5:30 pm. The classes are one hour once a week for six weeks. The cost for this six week course is $75. In this class, the puppies play with other puppies, kids and adults. We will help you through the biting, jumping, barking, house training, how to properly restrain them and some basic obedience commands.
Basic Obedience 1
You love your fur-ever puppy, but if they're acting a little naughty, it can cause some serious problems. If you're dealing with out-of-control behaviors from your sweet angel, we can help. Our four-week level 1 obedience training program is $85. We'll address behaviors like barking, biting, pulling and jumping while teaching your dog basic instructions . Once your dog has graduated from our level 1 program, they'll be eligible for our level 2 class. We want your furry friend to succeed Our dog obedience trainer uses positive reinforcement to motivate our furry pupils. You won't have to worry about us shaming your dog when they don't get it right. The training techniques we use in our dog obedience training course include: * Sitting * Laying down * Come * Heeling up * Hand signals * Properly restraining your dog Start your journey toward improving your dog's behavior today. Please note that in order to attend our level 1 obedience program, your pup must have their DHPP and rabies vaccines. Please bring proof of vaccination, soft treats, waste bags, a leash (no retractable leashes) and a buckle collar or harness to class.
Basic Obedience 2
Our four-week level 2 obedience training program is $85. We'll address behaviors like barking, biting, pulling and jumping while teaching your dog basic instructions . Once your dog has graduated from our level 1 program, they'll be eligible for our level 2 class. The training techniques we use in our dog obedience training course include: * Sit Stays * Down Stays * Come * Heeling up * Learning left/right and stopping on walks * Hand signals * Properly restraining your dog Start your journey toward improving your dog's behavior today. Please note that in order to attend our level 2 obedience program, your pup must have their DHPP and rabies vaccines. Please bring proof of vaccination, soft treats, waste bags, a leash (no retractable leashes) and a buckle collar or harness to class.
Private Training
Sometimes, you may desire a little on-on-one training in your own home to correct unwanted behaviors or train desired behaviors. Many private lessons work to solve issues such as anxiety, barking, counter surfing, or bolting out of the home. We call them family manners. We strive to build behaviors that create a calm, safe, and happy household. Your trainer will need to know what issues you would like to work on and let you know what they will need from you. Private Training is $100.00 per hour.  Contact us for more information​ and dates availability.
Canine Good Citizenship Test
Once your dog has graduated from our level 1 and 2 program, they'll be eligible to take the AKC Canine Good Citizenship test. Visit the AKC CGC test requirement web site. Perfecting Your Already-Perfect Pooch. This course is $85 for four weeks. During this four week course, it will include command practice and dog walking training. •Encountering friendly strangers •Sitting politely for petting •Walking through a crowd •Interacting with other dogs •Separation •Coming when called •Reacting to distractions Dogs must have completed the Basic Obedience 1 and 2 class prior to signing up for Canine Good C Be proud of your pup In this final course, treats will not be used for reinforcement. Instead, we'll use praise or a toy to acknowledge good behavior during dog walking training and the other trainings involved in this course.
Outdoor Adventure Class
In these sessions, we walk in a group of dogs, kids and adults going arounf the St. Cloud Area working on sitting, laying down, stays, come, greeting strangers and leave it commands. You can come to all 3 classes or couple classes. Cost is $25/ session. We will have water for the dogs and dress for the weather, rain or shine Our Spring Class will be on Wednesday at 6:00 pm, our first class is on May 1st meeting at Lake George's Splash Pad parking lot. May 8th meeting in St. Joseph at the Local Blend Coffee. Final class is May 15th meeting at St. Cloud State's National Hockey Center.
